Unifying Windows update management

Windows update management for enterprise customers was fragmented across 2 services, 7 surfaces, and two orgs (Security and E+D). I led the UX and IA strategy that unified Windows Update for Business and Autopatch into one experience in Intune, bringing update policies, releases, devices, and reporting together for enterprise IT admins.

Update journey

I identified a gap in update reporting and designed a flow visualization to address the issue, making multi-dimensional update data easy to understand at a glance, with 4-level drill-down from the entire fleet to a single device timeline and actions at each level. It started as a hackathon concept, was promoted to a roadmap priority, and was announced at Microsoft Ignite 2025 and shipped in 2026.

Evolving DesignOps with AI

Designers inherited Figma files with outdated components and inconsistent structure. I built three plugins and an AI agent, evolving from targeted fixes to generating design-system-aware, AI-native files from legacy designs or screenshots.

Service Intelligence

When a service degrades, the failure can cascade through a complex web of dependencies, triggering alerts across many connected services. I designed the service dependency map so IT operations and SRE teams could trace those relationships to identify potential root causes and understand what could be affected next.

Flow Designer

Incident automation required JavaScript, so the people who managed incidents had to rely on developers to build their workflows. I led design for Flow Designer, a visual builder that let incident teams create those automations themselves by connecting triggers, actions, and integrations on a canvas.

xMatters Design System

Disconnected components slowed production and duplicated work across design and engineering. I built a governed design system that improved consistency, sped iteration and earned team-wide adoption.

Zoro app

Zoro brought thousands of taxis from independent operators into one passenger experience. I led research and end-to-end design, then benchmarked each release to verify the booking experience improved.

DDS: on-prem to SaaS

DDS consolidated products across four transportation modes into one SaaS platform. I led the research, mapped customer journeys and inventoried every feature to define and sequence the SaaS roadmap.
